Donald "Juno" James Pankow Jr

Donald "Juno" James Pankow Jr. Meshabesha (meaning Lion) age 51, Journeyed to the Spirit World on Wednesday November 27th, 2013 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND surrounded by family.

Juno was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of Angeline Fastwolf and Donald Pankow Sr.

He was raised in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Juno moved to Ponemah, Minnesota and made that his home until moving to Warroad, Minnesota where he met his soulmate Andrea Trottier and has lived for the past twenty- two years. Andrea and Juno were married in Roseau, Minnesota and raised six children together in Warroad, Minnesota.

Juno has worked for Seven Clans Casino Warroad for many many years. Juno also enjoyed spending most of his free time with his children and grandchildren. He was a very dedicated father and grandfather and they were his pride and joy.

Juno is survived by his mother Angeline Fastwolf, children: Julius Johnson, Jesse Johnson (LaTeal Kinergy), Tiffany Abrahamson (Brandi Auen), Breanna Jackson (Matthew Quaife), Eve Jackson, Leah Redeagle (Marcus Saeland Sr.). grandchildren: Seneca Johnson, Kameron Johnson, Kylie Johnson, Cody Blackhawk, Marcus Saeland Jr., Calista Johnson; four sisters: Audie Lussier, Laurie Lussier, Karla Pankow, Dawn Pankow. three brothers: Bert (Colleen) Lussier , David Pankow, Marcus Fastwolf along with numerous aunts uncles, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife Andrea Pankow, his father Donald Pankow Sr., grandparents Percy & Susan Spears, Mr. & Mrs Carl Pankow, Special Aunt & Uncle Donald & Irene Roberts, brother Jeffery Lussier , cousin Chad Hardy and niece Ashley Stately and foster son Michael Durant.

Traditional all night wakes will begin at noon on Sunday. December 1st and Monday, December 2nd at The Boys and Girls Club in Ponemah, Minnesota with Traditional Graveside services to follow on Tuesday, December 3rd, at 2:00 P.M. at The Hamilton Cemetery in Hamilton, North Dakota.

Casket Bearers will be: Leon Lussier Sr., Melvin Brunner, Gary Spears Sr., Michael Pankow, Charles Martin Jr., Marcus Jaurez with alternates being, Darrell Crowe Sr., Earl Lussier, Bertram Lussier Jr. and Percy Lussier.
